Welcome to buy a waterbus ticket to the Western Archipelago line!

From this store you can buy tickets for the Western Archipelago line water bus. The one-way journey takes about 2.5 hours from start to finish. With a day ticket, you can use the route unlimitedly for one day, and also use the direct water bus lines from Market Square to Suomenlinna and Vallisaari.

You can also purchase separate limited tickets for certain shorter route segments.

In the online store, you first select the departure date, time, and departure port, and then the desired ticket type. For each departure, you can see how many tickets are available for purchase.

You will be asked to show the ticket printed or on your phone when boarding the waterbus.

Kalasatama – Kruunuvuorenranta ADULT one way 3€ (ticket valid only on this route!)
Kalasatama/Kruunuvuorenranta – Lonna/Suomenlinna ADULT round trip 12€ (ticket valid only on this route!)
Kalasatama/Kruunuvuorenranta – Vallisaari ADULT round trip 16€ (ticket valid only on this route!)
Friday Sunset Cruise ADULT one way 15€

Note! All tickets (except Kalasatama – Kruunuvuorenranta) include return journey on the Western route or direct traffic to Market Square as per your choice.
Children 7-17 years half price
Seniors,students and conscript soldiers -10%
Children under 7 years travel for free with an adult. Bicycle 5€ (if space is available, usually there is). Strollers travel for free. Pets are also welcome aboard for a cruise! Inquire more on the ship, via email, or by phone! Cash, debit cards, and major credit cards are accepted as payment methods onboard. Please have exact change for cash payments.

Tickets are sold in the online store in a predetermined quantity, and with them, you can board the ferry past the queue at the mainland departure port. However, on the islands, it is not possible to monitor the queue system, which means that a return ticket purchased for a specific departure would not actually ensure that you would board past the queue. Therefore, it is not possible to book return trips for certain departures. At the island ports, people are boarded according to the queue principle. Therefore, there is actually much more capacity on board the ferry than what is sold in the online store.
